Who We Are

We started The Bucket List Collection as two like-minded families with a shared dream: to make an everlasting positive impact on the world. We're full of gratitude for the travels our families have enjoyed—journeys that inspired us to protect the special places we love and empower other families to experience their magic. We’ve witnessed firsthand how these irreplaceable places and life-changing experiences create cherished memories and bring families closer together. We feel a deep responsibility to be worthy stewards of these properties, advocates for local cultures, and champions of responsible tourism.

Opening 2025 - We are excited to open our doors and welcome you to experience your first journey into The Bucket List Collection! We hope to cross paths and meet you along the way. The world of Bucket List has now become a global community full of adventurous, loving, and wonderful families! Truly, these amazing properties are about to be filled with the most amazing people, YOU!

The Gee Family

Known as The Bucket List Family, Garrett & Jessica have spent the last 10 years taking their three young children, Dorothy, Manilla and Calihan around the world, exploring nearly 100 countries together.

In 2015 the Gees sold everything and left home for their global adventure, documenting their family travels on social media and with National Geographic.

The Gees have grown their community and social media following of 7 million across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok with a highly engaged, kind and supportive audience full of like-minded adventurous families from all over the world.

The Bucket List Family has been voted Travel Influencer of The Year in 2022 and 2023 and their travels inspire millions to create their own family Bucket Lists, step outside their comfort zones, and travel to the unique places featured on their channels.

The Mabey Family

Justin & Betsy Mabey bring years of experience owning and operating hospitality properties with a large portfolio of award-winning hotels and nightly rentals.  Their work experience spans internet startups, venture capital, real estate, schools and hospitality.  

The common thread for the last 25 years is a desire to create unforgettable memories and special moments for families in unique locations.   The Mabey family loves spending time in and around National Parks and traveling throughout Europe.  

Justin and his partner were previously named Hilton New Developers of the Year, and they have experience creating boutique hotel brands, owning Hilton, Marriott, and IHG properties and owning award winning nightly rental homes. 

The Mabeys greatest joy is their growing family, and spending time together.
